Göran Rosberg has worked as an Information Manager in Malmö since the end of the 1980s. His former workplace was the Department of Social and Economic Geography at Lund University, where he worked as a junior lecturer and member of the research group in economic geography.
He has a clear understanding of the entire transformation process that the City of Malmö has undergone in the past 10-15 years. This includes the preparations for the construction of the Öresund Bridge and thus also the emergence/birth of the Öresund region. In connection with the extensive vision work in 1995, two major visions became reality – the establishment of the university and the transformation of Västra hamnen (the Western Hrbour) and Bo01 into a sustainable citydistrict. Göran Rosberg followed these processes carefully and has also presented the transformation of Malmö in international journals.
